Tanaka - Atelier Edition I is a one-of-a-kind statement garment translated from the painting TANAKA, meaning "good times after hardship". What began as layered tension on canvas is reconstructed into form, structured ruffles rising with controlled intensity.
 
Designed as an evening and event piece, the silhouette commands presence. Movement, volume and contrast are deliberate, creating a sculptural effect that stands apart from conventional occasion wear.
 
Individually constructed in the atelier using reclaimed materials and hand-finished details, the garment carries visible traces of its making. A reminder that strength is formed, not manufactured.
